IoT SMS Message Information

In order to activate SMS messaging, issue the following command in the serial terminal of the development kit.

+set,smsnum:14026173776

You will be prompted with the following message, which will lead you to this page:

By entering your phone number and approving with +set,smsapprove:1, you agree to receive automated SMS text messages from Signetik Device Monitoring (Signetik, LLC) regarding the status and fault conditions of your registered device. You will receive one message:

Signetik, LLC: Reply YES to receive device alerts & status updates via SMS. Msg frequency is 1-4 texts per day for status and up to 10 texts for alert conditions. Msg & data rates may apply. Once the user replies YES or Y, there will be a message.

This approval will be cleared if a new number is set in the device and the process above will repeat.

Upon approval, your phone number, approval date and time, and device serial number will be sent and stored on Signetik's database system with opt-in information.
